Asbestos Awareness

Asbestos is the single greatest cause of work related deaths in the UK. There is no cure for the main asbestos-related diseases, however, asbestos is only a risk to health if asbestos fibres are breathed in. It currently kills 4500 people every year.

In this course we will cover:

• The Properties and risk of asbestos;
• The location of Asbestos containing materials;
• Avoiding risks from asbestos;
• The legislation covering working with asbestos.
